Christmas Lights around Piazza Navona

A friend from L.A. was in town for meetings. After dinner an Italian friend of hers drove us to Piazza Navona. We parked on a side street and I had to take a photo of these blue lights.

On the way to meet my friend near Piazza del Popolo, I came across these lights near Pz. Navona. I love these side streets.

They're simply lovely. Blue lights are huge here this year. I wonder if this is a new technology or something.

Pretty lights! I think blue is a great Christmas colour. Can you believe I still haven't seen the lights in Milan? I hope to do so on Christmas Day, maybe post the pictures.

jen - not sure. I've never seen blue lights until this year.

anne - yes they are. I love discovering all the nooks and crannies.

skywalker - haha. I know! Not to worry.

j. doe - I like how they are not over the top. Very simple.

Ooh, I love those! I drove through the LADWP Festival of Lights the other night. All the ostentatious brightness isn't as lovely as the simplicity of those lights!

Have a wonderful holiday!
