Wait a minute, soccer/football season has started already?

I'm sitting here trying to work.

All of a sudden I heard screaming. Yes folks, Roma just scored a goal. Calcio is back.

I hope everyone enjoyed the rest of their summer and those Stateside have a nice Labor Day weekend.

Meanwhile I will have to hear the following non-stop for the rest of the day.

The official AS Roma song.

SO good to see you!!! I hope the vacation was lovely.

I think I already memorized that song - clearly I've even heard it a lot here in the States.

amanda - you're welcome.

glamah16 - ha, good luck with that.

jen - I didn't actually have a vacation but hope to take a mini-break this fall. We have to see how the $$$ situation looks. The Roma song is very catchy but I really don't need to hear it 10 times in one evening. :)

belgian - grazie. I am looking forward to the fall. All my friends are coming back this week.

Antonello Venditti--he sings the song as well as a few others like Roma Capoccia and Grazie Roma. He's got others of course, but as for Rome, these are some classics!
