I finished the book this weekend. I did have to read it for work but I thought it was good read. Sebastian Junger (The Perfect Storm), wrote a book about the famous Boston Strangler case. What is bizarre is that the man, Albert DeSalvo, who confessed to the crimes was a handyman who worked on the Junger house. Creepy.
An elderly neighbor of the Junger's was murdered. A black man, Roy Smith, who was hired from an agency to work in the house that day was arrested and convicted for the crime. At first the police thought they had the Strangler but there was no way this suspect could have committed those crimes. While Smith was in jail the Strangler continued to kill. In the end no one knows who really killed the elderly neighbor.
